VOICE/ Active & Passive
Good Morning to everyone (irrespective of time & date).
Using proper "VOICE" in the English sentence makes your sentence more meaningful & expressive .
So, let's be effective and expressive with our "VOICE" .
You must have faced some confusions regrading the grammatically corrections of your sentences .
Worry No Further, we are here to help you as everyone like you have faced this issue .
Today, we are going to take one of the very important topic in English i.e. Voice .
VOICE has two types .
Active Voice
Passive Voice
Let's heard straight to the topic .
Any sentence or statement can be expressed in two ways .
Ideally, the affirmative sentence starts with Subject (S) of the sentence followed by helping verb (HV), main verb (MV) and object (O) of the sentence .
The above sentences can be written as ;
S + HV + MV + O
This above form is "Active form of Voice in which Subject leads the sentence."
Second type is "Passive Voice in which an object leads in the sentence."
Further, understanding the VOICE , we have to go through each and every single tense .
First, we take Present Tense .
Present Tense has 5 sub-types namely ;
Simple Present Tense .
Present Indefinite Tense .
Present Continuous Tense .
Present Perfect Tense .
Present Perfect Continuous Tense .
The rules which we will study to apply for this Present Tense will be applicable to the remaining sub-types of the sentences (respective to their counterparts) .
To do the VOICE , a English Sentence must have all three important component like
Subject (S) + Helping Verb (HV) + Main Verb (MV) + Object (O)
NOTE : There is one separate type of VOICE change which do not have Subject (S) called as Imperative Sentence Voice Change .
